Disability Discrimination Act's Birthday - March
DDA is worth celebrating
Did you know the Disability Discrimination Act commenced operation on 1 March 1993? Happy 29th bday DDA!
The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) makes it unlawful to discriminate against a person accessing public places, because of their disability.
It is a fantastic Act and very relevant for us and the works we do. It is the reason many of our clients get us to remove trip hazards on their pathways and common areas to improve accessibility and safety.
Click HERE for a link to the DDA and all it encompasses. Best enjoyed with a biscuit and a cuppa!
